I’m Guy-Xavier NSENGIYUMVA, an Award-Winning Location Sound Recordist born and raised in Burundi but based in Kigali, mainly operating around the Great Lakes region countries. I began sounds for motion pictures in 2015 as an unprofessional sound engineer on a feature film combining Burundian filmmakers and Rwandan filmmakers. Being a Sound engineer on that project I helped starting PA sound system practices and increased my interest in sound for motion pictures which led me to join one of best the filmmaking schools in Kigali and Nairobi.
